M. Winifred “Winnie” McCrae, 98 of Shippensburg, died Monday, April 01, 2013 in the Shippensburg Health Care Center.
Born Thursday, September 3, 1914 in Roxbury, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Jenney G. Gabler McKee.
Winnie was a member of the Roxbury United Methodist Church where she was the organist for many and served on the Roxbury Election Board. She was a 1932 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School.
Winnie was an avid Phillies Fan and loved her family
Surviving are a son, John A. “Jack” McCrae and his wife Ann of Shippensburg, one grandson Mark A. McCrae and his wife Tammy, and one great grandson, Zachary A. McCrae all of Harrisburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. McCrae who died February 16, 2002.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev. Paul K. Hauk officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
