Lugarda Deck

Lugarda Jaramillo Deck, 83, of Alamogordo, New Mexico, departed this life on Fridayu evening, June 12, 2020.
She was born on April 11, 1937, in Palma Torrance, New Mexico, the daughter of the late Toby Jaramillo and Maggie Salazer. Lugarda was married to Donald D. Deck, formerly of Walnut Bottom, PA. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2018.
She worked at the Presto Factory and the Robbins Cleaners and in her free time taught Zumba dance lessons at Zumba Dance Studio.
Lugarda is survived by two daughters, Yvette Deck Torres and husband Tony of Roy, UT and Vanesa Deck Allen and husband George of Alberqurque, NM; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Teresa Aquibar and husband Manny of New Mexico and Lee Jaramillo Martinez and husband Marty of El Paso, TX; and one sister in law, Carol Jaramillo.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lugarda was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie.
Her memorial service will be held on June 29, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Vaughn, NM. Lugarda will be laid to rest alongside her husband in the Santa Fe National Cemetery in New Mexico.
