Lucile Hamilton

Lucile A. Hamilton, 54, of Shippensburg, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born April 14, 1957 in Washington D.C. she was a daughter of the late John Ofenstein, Sr. and Joanne M. Florence Weary.
Years ago Lucile was the Circulation Manager for the News Chronicle in Shippensburg. She took a lot of the photography for the newspaper at the Shippensburg Race Track and at some NASCAR races. She was a National member of the Harley Owners Group.
She is survived by her husband Gary L. Hamilton, two daughters, Katrina Keesler of Newark, Ohio, and Sabrina Ofenstein of Shippensburg, five grandchildren, Gabrielle Keeler, Amya Keeler, Ebb Allen, Jr., Preston Dile, and Farrah Dile, three brothers, Larry Deibert of Boiling Springs, John Offenstein of West Virginia, and Lynton Ofenstein of Washington, D.C. and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by twin daughters.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 23, 2012 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 7 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Harold E. Yeager. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home Monday evening.
