Louise Weist

Louise D. Weist, 88, formerly of Newburg, passed away the afternoon of Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at ManorCare of Chambersburg.
She was born Sunday, July 10, 1932, in Everett, a daughter of the late Walter E. and Ella M. Thompson Taylor.
She is survived by her three sons, Dennis K. Weist of Newburg, Larry D. (Janell) Weist of Red Lion, and William R. (Jody) Weist, Jr. of Roxbury; one daughter, Kathleen L. (Gary G.) Mathna of Dillsburg; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Lousie was preceded in death by her husband William R. Weist, Sr., whom passed away on March 23, 1999.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens with Pastor Daniel Murray officiating. A public viewing will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
Those in attendance are asked to observe the recommendations pertaining to reducing the potential spread of Covid-19; wearing masks, hand sanitizing, and social distancing as much as possible.
