Lonnie Snyder, Sr.

Lonnie E. Synder, Sr., 63 of 54 Walnut Dale Road, Shippensburg, died Saturday, April 24, 2010 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center from the result of a traffic accident Thursday morning.

Born April 26, 1946 in Chambersburg, Franklin County; he was a son of the late Roland Witmer and Bessie Snyder Mooney.

For over 20 years he worked for Charles E. Brake Inc., St. Thomas and was currently driving for Troy Mills Excavating.

He is survived by a daughter, April L. Snyder of Martinsburg, WV, four sons; Lonnie E. Snyder, Jr., Shawn L. Snyder, and Ricky A. Snyder all of Shippensburg, and Christopher M. Keppley of Martinsburg, WV, a brother Mike Witmer of Shippensburg, and eleven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Michelle Keppley.

Memorial services will be held Friday, April 30, 2010 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 7:00 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Frank L. Mathna. There will be no viewing however the family will receive relatives and friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday evening in the funeral home.
