Lois A. Stine, 76, of Shippensburg, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born June 16, 1939 in Shippensburg, Lois was a daughter of the late Charles and Thelma Elizabeth Shriner Porter.
Lois attended Prince Street United Brethren Church in Shippensburg and was a seamstress at the Stanley Company in Chambersburg. She was a 1957 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. Lois was an active member of the Branch Creek Place in Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Stine who died June 6, 2005.
Lois is survived by two daughters, Jody A. Stine and Lori A. Stine of Shippensburg, one sister, Twila Mowery of Chambersburg, and two brothers, Billy Porter of Carlisle, and Barry Porter of Shippensburg.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg with The Rev. James O. Bolich officiating. Burial will be in Cleversburg Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
