Linda L. Singer, 69, of Shippensburg, died Monday, June 29, 2015 at her son’s home in Carlisle.
She was born July 30, 1945 in Opelousas, LA. Linda was a daughter of the late John Lee Wilson and Lorena Bourque Wilson Comeaux.
Linda was a cashier at Walmart in Shippensburg. She was a member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge # 2500 both in Shippensburg.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Singer, Sr. who died June 19, 2005.
Linda is survived by two sons, Ronald J. (Judi) Singer, Jr. of Carlisle, and Vernon L. Singer of Shippensburg; one daughter, Paula S. Black of Shippensburg; two sisters, Becky Gaspard of Opelousas, LA, and Ann Ellis of Krotz Springs, LA; five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 6, 2015 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg at 3 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Ed Roman. Burial will be held at the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
