Linda Mcbeth

Linda Dianne McBeth, 61, of Walnut Bottom, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born December 22, 1953 in Carlisle. Linda was a daughter of Cecelia Edith Vanasdlen Fulton of Shippensburg, and the late James Bruce Fulton, II.

For over 15 years she managed Amy’s Thai Cuisine in Carlisle, prior to that Linda was a stay at home mom. Many years ago she worked at G.S. Electric. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Walnut Bottom. Linda was a 1972 graduate of Big Spring High School. She enjoyed reading with the Book Club girls, hanging out with the gang, entertaining, cooking, and with her husband participating in the activities associated with the Corvette Club. Linda was the rock of her family.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Stephen L. McBeth, one son, Corey S. (his wife Jessica) of Shippensburg, two daughters, Leilani D. McBeth of Carlisle, and Carly A. McBeth of Gardners, one grandson, Layne S. Ferree of Carlisle, seven brothers, John Fulton of Walnut Bottom, Terry Fulton of Marion, Doug (his wife Awy) of Mt. Holly Springs, Jeffrey Fulton of Carlisle, Kevin (his wife Amy) of Newville, Ray Fulton, and Jay Fulton both of Shippensburg, one sister, Sherelayne (her companion Lonnie Neidigh) Fulton of Newville, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by a brother, James Bruce Fulton, III.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Rocky W. Spear. Burial will be held in the Jacksonville Cemetery, Walnut Bottom. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to South Newton Twp. Volunteer Fire Company, #49, P. O. Box 49, 16 Firehouse Road, Walnut Bottom, PA 17266.
