Levi J. Lynch, 28, of Shippensburg, passed away the evening of Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the Chambersburg Hospital, after a lengthy illness, with his loving family by his side.
He was born on Monday, February 7, 1994 in Carlisle, the son of Jimmie B. (Shelly Gilbert) Lynch and M. Heather (Fishel) Lynch.
Levi was a 2012 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. He loved cars, motorcycles, and tinkering with his truck. Levi was a caring, kind person who loved spending time with his family. He also liked to cook and craft with vinyl decals. Anyone who met Levi surely will never forget him. He lived life as large as he was.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Alenna (Calderon) Lynch; two children, Jessica Cabrera-Lynch and Gabriel Calderon; one sister, Chelsy Kernan; maternal grandmother, Mary Beth Fishel; paternal grandmother, Judy Lynch; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews; and his service dog, Grizzly.
Preceding him in death is his maternal grandfather, Gary L. Fishel.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. The Rev. Dr. Christopher Suehr will officiate. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite local animal shelter.
