Leslie Jo Byers, 51, of Newburg, died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at her parent’s home.
Born April 15, 1959 in Carlisle, PA, she was a daughter of Dean E. and Patricia A. Eckert Fullmer of Newburg.
She enjoyed flea marketing, collecting, animals and especially cats. Leslie was employed for over 25 years at Hoffman Mills in Shippensburg and a 1978 graduate of Shippensburg High School.
She was a joy to her family and will be greatly missed.
Leslie was preceded in death by her husband Abram L. Byers, Jr. who died April 17, 2007.
In addition to her parents she is survived by one brother Bradford P. Fullmer of Orrstown, two sisters; Darr A. Fullmer of Camp Hill, and Belinda K. Baer and her husband Russel of Newville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held privately in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be The Rev. Paul K. Hauk.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 2325 Country Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
