Leroy H. Diller, 82 of Chambersburg, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 in Menno Haven, Chambersburg.
Born November 18, 1928 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Silas S. and Emma R. Horst Diller.
Leroy was a self employed dairy farmer. He was a member of Shippensburg First Church of God and attended Middle Spring Presbyterian Church in Shippensburg.
Leroy is survived by his wife, Vivian I. Ocker Diller whom he married February 25, 1950, one son, Roger L. Diller and his wife Joyce of Shippensburg, one grandson, Josh L. Diller and his wife Nicole of Shippensburg, one granddaughter, Danae L. Hudzina and her husband Tom of West Chester, PA, three great grandsons, Jack, Jesse, and Daniel Hudzina all of West Chester, one great granddaughter, Chloe Diller of Shippensburg, six brothers, Ray, Lester, Charles, Robert, John, and James Diller all of Chambersburg, one sister, Fannie Frey of Chambersburg, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Richard H. Diller, one brother, Paul “Jake” Diller, and two sisters, Isabelle Martin and Louise Frey.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Chambersburg First Church of God, 2230 Grandpoint Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17202. Officiating will be The Rev. W. Stanley Darrah. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. The viewing will be held Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg and one hour prior to the services in church on Saturday.
