Leona Ocker

Leona May Ocker, 77, a resident of Golden Living Center, Gettysburg, formerly of Shippensburg, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in the center.
Born May 11, 1938 in Shippensburg, Cumberland County, PA, Leona was a daughter of the late Olin W. and Mildred May Swanger Staver.
She attended the Ridge Church of the Brethren, Shippensburg. Leona was a graduate of the former Shippensburg High School.
In addition to Leona’s parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur D. Ocker who died April 28, 1978.
Leona is survived by her son Glenn A. Ocker and his wife Bonnie of Mercersburg, two granddaughters, Mary Smith of Hagerstown, MD, and Diana Brenneman of Greencastle, and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Carl Ocker. There will be no public viewing or visitation.
