Leo Archambeau

Leo E. Archambeau, 70, of Shippensburg, passed away in the early hours of Friday, May 13, 2016 at his daughter’s home in Shippensburg.
Born Saturday, February 9, 1946 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Paul A. and Gladys S. Shuman Archambeau.
Leo was a member of the Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church. He was co-owner of Archambeau Beer Distributor, and after selling the business, he continued to work there which became Shippensburg Beverage and later working at Mt. Holly Beer and Soda. Leo was an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, and just loved the mountains.
He is survived by one son, William P. (Stacy) Archambeau, Chambersburg, two daughters; Kimberly S. (William) Bittinger, Chambersburg, and Michelle (Brian) Smith, Shippensburg, two sisters; Bertie (David) Miller, York Haven, and Lisa Lemming, Shippensburg, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey, J. Barnes Archambeau, who died March 6, 2001, daughter, Mary Catherine Archambeau, brother, Tom Archambeau, and great grandson, Cohen Mellott.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., with Bishop Greg Meyers officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
