Leland L. Leedy, 61 of Cumberland Highway, Newburg, died Friday, March 8, 2013 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Sunday, March 11, 1951 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Ambrose Z. Leedy and Meda E. Varner Leedy of Shippensburg.
Leland was a 1969 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School and was previously employed at the former Ingersoll-Rand, Shippensburg.
He was of the Christian Faith. He loved hunting, fishing, working on cars and spending time with his family.
Surviving are three daughters, Nicole Fair of Hagerstown, MD, Brooke Coder and Brianna Neil both of Chambersburg; three sons, Christopher Leedy of Saint Marys, GA, Jereme Leedy of Newburg, and Lucas Leedy of Orrstown; two brothers, Lester Leedy of Shippensburg, and Kevin Leedy of Camden, SC; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev. Robert L. Mentzer officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
