Lavonne Kay "Vonnie" Reeder

Lavonne Kay “Vonnie” Reeder, 77, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Friday, August 23, 2024.

She was born on March 25, 1947 in Waynesboro, a daughter of the late Elmer O. and Helen P. (Statler) Hoffman.

Vonnie retired from Shively Motors. She was an avid collector of Boyds Bears and Longaberger baskets. She also enjoyed vacationing at the beach. 

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ernest L. “Ernie” Reeder of Shippensburg; and close friend, Karen Ulrich of Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor Bruce Levy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
