Kenneth H. Wenger, 64, of Newburg, died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at home.
He was born May 12, 1949 in Newburg, PA. Kenneth was a son of the late Theodore and Dorothy Thrush Wenger.
He retired in 1996 from the Letterkenny Army Depot where he was a Maintenance Management Specialist. Kenneth was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Cumberland Valley Lodge # 315 F. &A.M., Hub City Club, Minnequa Social Club and a post member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223 all in Shippensburg.
Surviving are two sons, Jason Wenger (Carol) of Chantilly, VA, and Ryan Wenger (Stephanie) of Carlisle, one daughter, Kendra Wenger of Miami, FL, one brother, Larry Wenger of Orrstown, two sisters, Betty Davis of Amberson, and Judy Weller of Shippensburg, three grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 20, 2014 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg at 3 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Dale H. Miller, Jr. Burial with military honors conducted by the Shippensburg American Legion and VFW Posts will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
