Kathy D. Smith, 59, of Pleasant Hall, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at home.
She was born Wednesday, April 30, 1958 in Chambersburg. Kathy was a daughter of Clarence M. and Arlene A. Geedy Clever.
She was a Private Duty Nurse. Kathy was a member of the Abundant Life Chapel, Chambersburg. She was a 1977 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School.
In addition to her parents she is survived by five sisters, Esther White, Ruthann (Roger) McIntyre, Susan (Jack) Armstrong, Debbie (Kevin) Mundorff and Barbara Neil, two brothers, Brian (Rose) Clever and Randy (Lauria) Pennabaker and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Joni Lea Decker.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be Rev. Sampson and Nancy Myers and Pastor Esther White. A viewing will be held Saturday from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be privately held in the Fair Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Abundant Life Chapel, 1513 Shatzer Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 or the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5150 Letterkenny Road, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
