Kathryn E. Tosten, 80, of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, September 9, 2019 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born February 24, 1939 in Shippensburg. Kathryn was a daughter of the late Carl H. and Clara C. Zimmerman Gabler.
She worked at Gordon’s Department Store in Shippensburg and Klair’s Variety Store in both Newville and Shippensburg. Kathryn was a member of the Ridge Church of the Brethren. She was a 1957 graduate of the Shippensburg High School.
Kathryn is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wilbur L. Tosten whom she married August 10, 1957, a son-in-law, Richard Bard of Shippensburg and number of nieces and nephews. Her daughter, Connie Bard passed away November 29, 2018.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 13, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. Harold E. Yeager. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday morning one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
