Kathleen I. Bell, 84, of Newville, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was born September 29, 1929 in Letterkenny Township, Franklin County. Kathleen was a daughter of the late Charles M. and Ruth V. Wenger Rife.
She was a member of Hays Grove United Methodist Church, Newville, and a member of their Pollyanna Social Club. Kathleen was a 1947 graduate of the former Newville High School and prepared taxes for H & R Block in Shippensburg for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lee R. Bell who died September 15, 2003 and her son, Thomas D. Bell who died May 17, 2013. Kathleen was also preceded in death by one brother, Arthur and one sister, Dorothy.
She is survived by one son, Ronald L. Bell and his wife Lisa of Murrells Inlet, SC; two daughters, Judy K. Lewis and her husband Paul E. of Newville, and Nancy V. Williamson and her husband Foster of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Michael K. Lewis of Carlisle, Katie Santoro of Denver, PA, and Bradley A. Williamson of Camp Hill; two great granddaughters, Julia and Elise Santoro; and one sister, Dora Reinhard of Florida.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg at 10 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Barbara A. Servello. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
