Karan Ann Killian, 77 of Chambersburg, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loving family on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
She was born on Friday, March 21, 1947, the daughter of the late Arthur O. and Betty Jane (Shughart) Barrick.
Karan was a 1965 graduate of the Shippensburg Senior High School and a member of the Shippensburg Covenant Brethren Church. She was also a former member of the American Business Women’s Association. Throughout her career, she worked as a secretary at several places. She was the Secretary/Treasurer for the Guilford Township Supervisors for over 20 years where she retired from.
She always enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sporting events, traveling, shopping, watching QVC, and spoiling her cat Chunky.
Karan is survived by three daughters, Tammi S. and husband Ron Geyer of Chambersburg, Tisha R. Corey of Kennesaw, GA, Tiffani L. Miller of Chambersburg; seven grandchildren, Rachelle Geyer and fiancé David Corle of Chambersburg, Chase Geyer of Chambersburg, Saturn Corey and fiancé Tucker Kilgo of Kennesaw, GA, Nadia Corey of Kennesaw, GA, Nolan Corey of Kennesaw, GA, Locke Miller of Chambersburg, Lincoln Miller of Chambersburg; a great granddaughter, Dani Kilgo of Kennesaw, GA, and one more on the way.
Her funeral services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., in Shippensburg, with Pastor Wayne Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. There will also be a celebration of life held in the Community Center at Norlo Park, Chambersburg, starting at 7:00 p.m. It is requested that all in attendance consider wearing pink in honor of Karan’s life.
