June L. Reese, 92, of Shippensburg, passed away, Sunday, April 10, 2016 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born February 7, 1924 in Williamson, PA. June was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Elsie Brandt Evans.
June was a member of the Mainsville Church, Shippensburg. Years ago June worked at the former Penn Pants Factory in Shippensburg.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Harry E. Reese, one daughter, Patricia Wilt and her husband Ed of Shippensburg, one granddaughter, Tracey Wadel and her husband Steve, and one great grandson, Lance Wadel all of Shippensburg and a brother, James Evans of Quincy. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday April 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home with Pastor Donald L. Herb officiating. Burial will be held in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
