June E. Minor, 92, of Shippensburg, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 28, 1924 in Letterkenny Township, Franklin County. June was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Nettie Glessner Kuhn.
She was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church, Chambersburg. June retired from the Shippensburg University’s Accounting Department in 1985. She was a past member of BPW and was a volunteer for Lutheran Home Care Hospice.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur S. “Tiny” Minor who died November 18, 1990, four brothers, Frank Kuhn, Merle Kuhn, Russell Kuhn and Charles A. Kuhn, Jr., and seven sisters, Ethel Kuhn, Edna Paxton, Esther Gutshall, Blanche Durff, Nancy Kuhn, Clara Hertzler, and an infant Helen Kuhn and a special friend of 17 years, Casey Jones.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Rachel Keller Wong. Burial will be held in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers or donations it is a request of the deceased that to take the time and do kindness for a stranger.
