June Ellen Holtry Killian, 97, of Upper Strasburg, died Friday, September 20, 2013 in Green Ridge Village, Newville.
Born Tuesday, March 21, 1916 in Upper Strasburg, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late John F. Daugherty and Blanche Weist Daugherty Nichol.
June worked as a presser at the former J. Schoeneman Company in Chambersburg.
She was a member of the Upper Strasburg United Methodist Church and their Reapers Sunday School Class. She was a member of A.A.R.P. Chapter #2525.
Surviving are two sons; Donald C. Killian of Winter Haven, FL. and John L. Killian of Maple Grove, MN and one sister, Bernita Witter of Winter Haven, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, George Holtry and second husband, Donald R. Killian who died December 16, 2005.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. in the Upper Strasburg Methodist Cemetery with the Rev. Peter M. Beddia officiating.
