June Holtry

June L. (Martin) (Beidel) Holtry, 82 of Shippensburg, died Friday, May 27, 2011 in her home.
Born June 16, 1928 in Orrstown, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late McClay and Verda Butts Martin.
She was a member of Messiah United Methodist Church and the Cumberland Valley Hose Company both in Shippensburg. Years ago June was employed at the former Greif and L’Aiglon Companies in Shippensburg, Stanley Company in Chambersburg and Carlisle Tire and Rubber.
June was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Beidel, Sr. and Robert Holtry. Her seven brothers and two sisters are also deceased.
She is survived by two sons, Charles R. Beidel, Jr. and his wife Edna of Carlisle, and Jerry W. Holtry and his wife Doris of Mt. Holly Springs, one brother, Ronald E. Martin of Chambersburg, one sister, Pauline W. Warren of Shippensburg, two grandchildren, Kevin Beidel of Newburg, and Keith Beidel and his wife Tammy of Shippensburg, three great grandchildren, Skyler, Brooke, and Tristyn Beidel, her companion, Roy Cramer of Chambersburg, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 11 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Kevin E. Hughes and The Rev. Dr. Francis H. Norton. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
