June A. Coldsmith, 84, of Means Hollow Road, Shippensburg, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Sunday, August 31, 1930 in Three Springs, Huntingdon County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth VonMous Meck.

June was a member of Prince Street United Brethren Church. She retired as a seamstress from the former L’aiglon Clothing Factory and was a former employee at the former Penn Pants and Monarch Clothing Factories all in Shippensburg.

She loved playing BINGO and crocheting. She was an avid NASCAR and Pittsburgh Steeler Football fan. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

She is survived by one son, Thomas R. Coldsmith and his wife Kathy, two daughters, Donna M. Bragunier and her husband William all of Shippensburg and Brenda L. Wenger and her husband Sean of Orrstown, one brother, Philip Meck of Fayetteville, one sister, Devena Tollett of Nashville, AR, 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. Coldsmith, Jr. who died March 29, 2002, one daughter, Barbara Mae Coldsmith, one granddaughter, Shalena D. Stevens and one sister, Julia Meck.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., with the Rev. Daniel Henley officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Friday, January 2nd from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Prince Street United Brethren Church, 20 North Prince Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
