Julia Coy

Julia L. Coy, 61, of Shippensburg, died Monday, November 2, 2015 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

She was born October 2, 1954 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Julia was a daughter of the late William J. and Mary Jane Johnston Hartman.

She worked for Lehman’s Egg Services in Chambersburg for 23 years. Julia was a member of the Abundant Life Chapel, Chambersburg and was a graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School.

She is survived by her husband, Dalton E. Coy; four daughters, Penny Ashby and her husband Christopher, and Pamela Coy all of Steelton, Crystal Davis and her husband James of Shippensburg, and Jennifer Stumbaugh and her husband Jason of Chambersburg; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Susan Sucik, and Pam Valdez both of Chambersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 10 a.m. Officiating will be The Reverends Sampson and Nancy Myers. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
