Miss Judith E. Hendrickson, 63, of 410 Herwen Drive, Shippensburg, died Thursday, October 6, 2011 at her home.
Born June 26, 1948 in Elkton, MD, she was a daughter of the late John and Rhilla Lou Brewer Hendrickson.
She retired in 1998 from the Department of Treasurer in Washington D.C. as an Analyst. She attended the Prince Street United Brethren Church, Shippensburg.
Judith was very intelligent, well loved and was an avid writer.
Surviving are three sisters, Barbara Jean Bordeaux and her husband Charles, Carolina Beach, NC, Helen H. Thiers and her husband, Wolfgang, Waynesboro, and Rhilla Louise Zebrook, Alabama and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Prince Street United Brethren Church, Shippensburg, with the Rev. James O. Bolich officiating. Burial will be private. There will be no viewing or visitation.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Salvation Army Corps. 159 Lincoln Way West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
