Juanita K. Mills, 77, of Shippensburg, passed away the evening of Friday, December 20, 2024 at the Shippensburg Health Care Center. 

She was born on November 12, 1947 in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late George F. and Betty Jane (Varner) Ingram. 

Juanita was a 1965 graduate of the Laurel High School and longtime member of South Mountain Chapel. She also previously served on the Shippensburg Fair Queen Committee. Juanita enjoyed making jewelry, putting puzzles together, and loved to go shopping. Above all else, she loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by three children, Troy F. Mills and fiancé Denise Dofflemyer of Shippensburg, Traci L. Yohe of Martinsburg, WV, and Julie E. Leid and husband Curvin of Elizabethtown; 10 grandchildren, Miranda Spirk and husband Bryan, David Boarts and fiancé Justas Bailey, Christian Boarts and companion Hannah Palm, Thomas Mills, Dereck Mills, Cody Mills and wife Aysha, Wade Mills and wife Alexis, Josh Yohe, Jacob Yohe, and Justin Horn; four great-grandchildren, Sophie and Stella Spirk, Weston Mills, and Liam Boarts; and two siblings, Lowanda Brown and Kelly Weaver and husband Dean. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin L. “Sonny” Mills, who passed away on September 20, 2003. Also preceding in death was one granddaughter, Jordan Horn. 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. There will be no public viewing, visitation, or service at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a future date and time. 

Memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter of one’s choice.
