Joyce Elizabeth Thomas Ritter, 85 of Shippensburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Shippensburg Health care Center.
Born Friday, February 7, 1936 in Shippensburg, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Roy Denton and Doris Stine Mason.
Joyce was a member of the Deliverance in Christ Church in Scotland, PA. She loved and cherished her family.
Joyce like to draw and write poems.
She is survived by two daughters, Joanie E. (husband Donald) Wishard, Shippensburg and Wanda A. (husband Jeffrey) Stoner, Mercersburg; three sisters, Gladys Mason, Sara Mason and Edna Mae Mason Souders; two brothers, Sherman and Paul Mason; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Lee Thomas, her second husband, Clyde Earnest Ritter, and a brother, Roy Jack Mason.
A graveside service will be held Monday, February 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Parklawns Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Lonnie Shover officiating.
