Josephine Lytle

Josephine M. Lytle, 92, of Shippensburg, died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born April 16, 1919 in Shippensburg, a daughter of the late Frank J. and Gertrude M. Mills Allen.
She was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God. Josephine worked at U-Wana-Wash-Frock Company, Shirt Craft and helped on the family’s dairy farm.
Josephine is survived by her husband, Robert E. Lytle, one son, Robert A. Lytle and his wife Jane of Shippensburg, one daughter, Lavonne M. Tritt and her husband Sonny of Shippensburg, four grandchildren, John R. Tritt of Newville, Stacey R. Rotz and Shawn R. Lytle both of Shippensburg, and Kimberly S. Starner of Carlisle, and two great grandchildren, Breanne Rotz and Elsie Starner.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, two sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 2 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Wayne A. Good. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
