Joseph Turpin

Joseph W. Turpin, 64, of Shippensburg, died Monday, September 3, 2012 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born May 1, 1948 in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Harry and Grace Wendling Turpin. Joseph is survived by his wife, Sherri Sargeant Turpin, one son, Stephen E. Turpin of Marietta, two daughters, Nicole Witman Short and her husband Tony of Elizabethtown, and Caitlan Dietz Sellers and her husband Jeremy of Amarillo, TX, one step daughter, Tamara Clark of Shippensburg, two sisters, Debhra Mease of Elizabethtown, and Lillian “Doll” Rothrock of Richfield, seven grandchildren, and one step grandson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, James Turpin. Two brothers and one sister are also deceased. Memorial services will be private.
