John Runshaw, Jr., 90, of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
He was born Sunday, November 10, 1929 in Mongul, PA. John was a son of the late John, Sr. and Martha Jane (Mathna) Runshaw.
John retired from Affiliated Industries in Shippensburg. He was a member of the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren.
John is survived by his wife of 72 years, Carma L. (Wenger) Runshaw; one son, David E. Runshaw and his wife Dremah; and one daughter-in-law, Sherry Runshaw, all of Shippensburg; four grandchildren, Amy Pensinger, John E. Runshaw, Holly Hockenberry and James David Runshaw; six great-grandsons; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Dean E. Runshaw; two brothers, Paul Runshaw and Merle Runshaw, Sr.; and a sister, Grace Killian.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 at 10 a.m. in the Mongul Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-7 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic the immediate family will not be present during the evening viewing.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Health Care and Hospice, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
