John Kazimer

John Robert Kazimer, 79, of Shippensburg, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Manor care of Chambersburg.
Born Thursday, October 3, 1940 in Shippensburg, he was a son of the late John Anthony and Sylvia Jane Maley Kazimer.
John attended the Ridge Church of the Brethren. He worked in waste management for the Shippensburg Borough.
John was a member of the Oscar M. Hykes Post # 223 Sons of the American Legion, his favorite hobby was fishing and he enjoyed socializing with people in town.
John is survived by two sisters, Betty Kazimer, of Shippensburg, and Jocelin (Eric) Johnson, Minneapolis, MN; and two cousins, John Maley and Mr. and Mrs. Ray (Linda) Forhinger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Kazimer.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Leon Davis officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
