John Eric Danglo, 32, formerly of Shippensburg, recently of Dover, departed this life on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at his home.
He was born on July 8, 1990, in Bristol, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, a son of Debra Danglo-Griffis.
John was currently working at Tristate Commercial Doors and Services, Gettysburg. A job that he really came to enjoy working at.
Those that knew John, knew a type of person that would go out of his way to help out anyone in a pinch. John was the guy you called late at night if your car broke down and needed a ride…..he’d be there. He was friendly, outgoing, and some would say goofy. John was a guy who could always be counted on to lighten the mood or say or do something that would make an uncomfortable situation a little less so. John enjoyed having fun with his family and many friends. He loved cars, Ohio State, and watching baseball and football in his free time.
John is survived by his mother, Debra Danglo-Griffis and her fiancé, Gale Busch, Jr., of Shippensburg; his brother, Daniel Griffis of Mechanicsburg; maternal grandparents, Jack “John” and Caroline Danglo of Levittown; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many friends.
His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. There will be a visitation, a chance to congregate, share stories and memories, and pay respects, on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home. There will be no type of formal service. Interment will also be private.
