John E. Aby, 92, of Shippensburg, died Saturday, December 10, 2011 in the Shippensburg Health Care Center.
Born December 8, 1919 in Middle Spring, PA, he was a son of the late Edward C. and Florence E. Russell Aby.
Many years ago he worked at Shirt Craft in Shippensburg.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy R. Myers Aby, a sister-in-law, Helen Aby of Shippensburg and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2011 in the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren at 1 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. J. Gerald Greiner. Burial will be private. There will be no viewing however a visitation will follow the services in church.
