Joel M. Lavine, 71, of Mechanicsburg, passed away the morning of Saturday, April 6, 2024.
He was born on Thursday, June 26, 1952 in Chambersburg, a son of the late Leonard and Marian L. Fickes Lavine.
Joel was a 1970 graduate of the Shippensburg Senior High School. His early passion in life was music, especially playing the keyboard. Joel also loved driving and was an avid car enthusiast.
He is survived by his sister, Candace L. (James A.) Russell of Mechanicsburg; and one nephew, Matthew S. (Nicole M.) Straub of Harrisburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary R. Lavine and Steven L. Lavine.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg. Officiating will be Chaplain Alan Echard.
