JoAnne D. Maus, 79, of Shippensburg, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Shippensburg Health care Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born Saturday, April 20, 1940 in Walnut Bottom, she was a daughter of the late J. Harold and Florence E. Hamilton Holtry.
JoAnne was a 1958 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. She attended the Messiah United Methodist Church and the Leesburg United Methodist Church, both in Shippensburg. JoAnne retired in 1999 from G.S. Electric after 27 years of service.
In her younger years, she enjoyed square dancing and sewing.
Surviving are two children, Pamela J. Maus and her companion Dale Seibert and Douglas E. Maus, and his companion Tina Cashner all of Shippensburg; one granddaughter, Chelsea M. Maus, Boiling Springs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry E. Holtry and her companion, Donald E. Grove.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with the Rev. Dr. Francis H. Norton officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leesburg United Methodist Church, 12 Strohm Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
