Joan A. Grace, 84, a resident of the Shippensburg Health Care Center, died on Thursday, September 16, 2010.
Born on April 22, 1926, in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Joan McEuleaflor Rafferty.
Joan was of the Catholic faith and was employed as a waitress earlier in life before becoming a homemaker, wife, and mother.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Linda D. (Brian) Hershey of Shippensburg and three great grandchildren; Richard Hershey, serving his country in Iraq, Amanda Hershey, and Dylan Hershey, both of Shippensburg.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Grace, who died on October 30, 1993, and her son Howard A. Grace.
Funeral services and interment will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg.
