Jerry McMullen, 68, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Friday, May 24, 2024 at the WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital.
Born, Wednesday, May 2, 1956, in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Calvin and Marion (Orris) McMullen.
Jerry was a 1974 graduate of Chambersburg High School. He spent the majority of his working career working as a loom mechanic for Richard’s Textiles. Jerry also worked as a supervisor at Ram Tech Letterkenny Army Depot for some time.
Jerry was a member of the Shippensburg Fish and Game Club. He always enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. As a very lucky man, Jerry liked to spend time at the casino. At home, he took care of the outside kitties and always enjoyed spending time with them.
Jerry is survived by a brother, Calvin McMullen of Washington D.C.; two sisters-in-law, Glenda and husband Dana Rotz of Shippensburg, and Linda and husband Robert Commerer of Shippensburg; three nieces; and two nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Berneta May McMullen who passed away in 2018.
Jerry’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. in Shippensburg. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spring Hill Cemetery with Pastor Gary Hornbaker officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc in Shippensburg.
