Jeanette Miller

Jeanette C. Miller, 69, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the UPMC Carlisle Hospital.

She was born on Friday, November 27, 1953 in Chambersburg, the daughter of the late James Calvin and Gladys V. (Heller) Cramer.

Jeanette was a 1971 graduate of the Shippensburg Senior High School. After high school, she attended Shippensburg University and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in medical technology from Mary Baldwin University, Virginia. In her working years, she was employed by both Waynesboro Hospital and Carlisle Hospital as a medical technologist. Jeanette took an interest in genealogy, enjoyed playing the flute, and loved her cats dearly. She had previously been involved with the Shippensburg Historical Society and was a member of the Shippensburg Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her brother, David L. (Patricia) Cramer of Shippensburg; and numerous cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg with Pastor Dale Detweiler officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
