Jeanette A. (Jones) Laughlin, 68, of Turnpike Road, Newburg, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Saturday, August 11, 1945 in Mt. Union, Huntingdon County, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth S. and Mary S. Jenkins Jones.
She was a 1963 graduate of the Chambersburg High School. Jeanette was a hairdresser, having a shop in her home and later working as a hairdresser at Green Ridge Village with 13 years of service.
Jeanette was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting and flowers and especially loved her grandson.
Surviving is her husband, Lee H. Laughlin of 48 years, a son, Douglas and his wife Lisa, a grandson, Connor, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judith A. (Jones) Myers, and a nephew, Jerry R. Myers, Jr.
A private graveside service will be held in Spring Hill Cemetery.
