Jayne Warren

Jayne Warren, 68, of Orrstown, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at home.

Jayne was born July 4, 1953 in Chambersburg, PA. She was a daughter of the late S. Galen and Lucy (Blair) Warren.

Jayne’s first seven years of employment was at Orrstown Elementary School where she was a second grade teacher. She then worked as a first grade teacher for 28 years at Nancy Grayson Elementary School. She also served a year as their librarian. Jayne volunteered at the Shippensburg Library, Make-a-Wish Foundation and with Meals on Wheels. She was a 1971 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University in 1974. Jayne also earned a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University.

Jayne is survived by her husband, Todd Miller; one daughter, Taryn Miller of Chambersburg; one brother, Dr. Galen Warren of Ft. Myers, FL; one nephew, Dr. Brent Warren of Statesville, NC; and one niece, Kristen Graham of Baldwin, MD.

A celebration of life service will be held in the Middle Spring Presbyterian Church, Shippensburg on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Ed Blank. Burial will take place in the Spring Hill Cemetery. There will be no viewing, however a visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in church.
