Janet M. Shroyer, 86, of Shippensburg, entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 11, 2015 with her loving family by her side.
She was born November 18, 1928 in Shippensburg, PA. Janet was a daughter of the late George W. and Sarah R. Ingram Bigler.
Janet worked at the U-Wanna-Wash Frock Co. and L’Aiglon Apparel both in Shippensburg and was a caregiver for many years. She attended the Ridge Church of the Brethren and was a life member of the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168 Auxiliary, the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223 Auxiliary, and the Minnequa Social Club all in Shippensburg.
Janet is survived by her companion, Eugene Revelle of 21 years, a son, Richard A. Guyer and his wife Christine of Shippensburg, a daughter, Nancy L. Lowe and her husband Jerry of Aurora, IN, four grandchildren, Beth Doyle and her husband Glenn, Jr. of Greencastle, Len Weller of Carlisle, Debbie Dougall and her husband Scott of Martinsburg, WV, and Jill Weller Baker of Burlington, KY, three great grandchildren, Karma Weller, Ryan Dougall, and Jesse Baker, four step grandchildren, Shawn Durff, Ryan Durff, Heather Newton, and Wayne Lowe, eight step great grandchildren, Hayley, Michael, Alicia, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Julian, Jaiden, and Matthew, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dana, Sr., Wallace, and Clarence Bigler, and two sisters, Betty Geedy and Jane Reid.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Earl F. Stovall. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home on Friday.
