Janet Kann

Janet K. Kann, 72, of Shippensburg passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 at home.

She was born September 16, 1944 in Leesburg, PA. Janet was a daughter of the late Irvin and Grace Staver Keeseman.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Walnut Bottom. Janet retired from SKF Industries and then went on to work at the Orrstown Bank. She was a 1962 graduate of the Shippensburg High School and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by her husband, Harold D. Kann, two children, Sheri Burkholder Croft and her husband Timothy and Keith B. Kann all of Shippensburg, three grandchildren, Alyssa, Jillyan and Jordan and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Glen Keeseman.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Officiating will be The Rev. Harold A. Bolyard, Jr. There will be no viewing or visitation.
