Jane Wilson

Jane E. Wilson, 65, of Shippensburg, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Friday, November 19, 1954 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Amos L. “Doggie” and Ruth Marlene Myers Devor.

Jane was a 1973 graduate of the Shippensburg High School. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Walnut Bottom.

Jane was employed by Walmart at both Shippensburg and Chambersburg locations, where she worked in various departments. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, gardening, going to yard sales and collecting tins.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Norman Edward Wilson whom she married June 30, 1973; daughter, Rebecca F. (husband John) Piper; son, Travis L. (wife Heather) Wilson, all of Shippensburg; granddaughter, Angela R. Piper and her Fiancé Arthur Neil, Fayetteville; grandson, Dominick X. Piper, Shippensburg and brother, John Devor, Enola.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Craig Loewen officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
