Jamie R. Martin, 47, of Shippensburg, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021.
He was born Thursday, January 29, 1974 in Chambersburg, PA. Jamie was a son of Gerald R. and Betty M. (Forrester) Martin of Shippensburg.
Jamie raised beef on the family farm. He was a 1992 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. Jamie enjoyed hunting, cutting wood and hanging out on his mountain ground.
In addition to his parents he is survived by one brother, Jeffrey A. (Phyllis) Martin and their children, Mackenzie and Bailey, all of Shippensburg, and a special friend, Beth Prigge of Chambersburg.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Durniak. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery, Chambersburg. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home. The family asks that there is to be minimal contact from person to person during the visitation, due to the possibility of COVID-19 transmission.
