James T. Buss, 88, of Fayetteville, departed this life on March 19, 2021, at his home.
He was born on March 1, 1933, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Ivan C. and Ellis V. (Jackson) Buss, and married Mary L. Bowers on September 17, 1966, in Goldsboro, PA.
James worked in shipping and receiving at York Corrugated Container, Co.
He enjoyed woodworking and riding motorcycles with his wife Mary. They owned fifteen different Harley’s throughout their lives and had ridden over 400,000 miles across the United States and Canada.
James is survived by two brothers, Richard Buss and William Buss, both of York Haven; one sister, Donna Shaffer of Dover; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, John, Thomas, and David Buss; and two sisters, Nadine Marsh and Virginia Fleman.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, in the Pleasant Hall Cemetery. Pastor Suzanne Elliott will officiate. There will be no public viewing or visitation.
