Jack Frederick Rapp, 81 of Lurgan, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Menno Haven, Chambersburg.
He was born May 7, 1936 in Chambersburg, PA. Jack was a son of the late Fred Rapp and Elizabeth Weibly Rapp Masters.
He retired from the Letterkenny Army Depot where he was a Fire Fighter. Jack was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168, Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223 and the Shippensburg Fish & Game Association. Jack loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by three children, Karla (Mark) McCleaf of Shippensburg, Jackie Rapp of Missouri and James Rapp and his companion Michelle Smith of Lurgan; three grandchildren, Nicholas and Tyler Weist and Justin Rapp; two great-grandchildren, Blaise Weist and Nick Weist, Jr.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Brandt.
A private memorial services will be held at the discretion of the family.
