J. Calvin Cramer, 96, of Shippensburg, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Elmcroft of Shippensburg.
Born Monday, September 1, 1924 in Shippensburg, he was a son of the late Clarence Edgar and Sara Helen Ocker Cramer, Sr.
Calvin retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad as a block operator. He also worked numerous part time jobs at various locations. Calvin was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God, a member of the Hub City Club in Shippensburg, he enjoyed hunting and was a Jack of all Trades.
Surviving is one daughter, Jeanette C. Miller; one son, David Lee (wife Patricia) Cramer, all of Shippensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Virginia Heller Cramer who passed away March 4, 2015; one brother, Clarence Edgar Cramer, Jr.; two sisters, Marie A. Myers and Beatrice Strock and son in-law, Richard L. Miller.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, funeral services and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shippensburg First Church of God, 121 East King Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257 or Operation Smile, 3641 Faculty Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23453.
