Irvin Keefer

Irvin S. Keefer, 88, a resident at Chambers Pointe Health Center, Chambersburg, formerly of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

He was born Saturday, May 12, 1934 in Orrstown, PA. Irvin was a son of the late Benjamin and Estella (Wadel) Keefer.

He retired in 1996 from Domestic Castings, Shippensburg. Irvin was a member of the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren and a member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, Shippensburg. He was a United States Army Veteran.

Irvin is survived by his wife, Janet L. (Besore) Keefer, two daughters, Pamela S. (Rodney) Masney of Monclova, Ohio, and Marianne M. (Christopher) Barrick of Newville, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one sister, Emma Metzgar of Chambersburg. In addition to his parents, Irvin was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

At Irvin’s request there will be no public viewing or services.
